Today Drive began teaching code to 40 adults.  In partnership with Project 658 students from various backgrounds have come to learn the power of code.  Students will participate twice a week for 4 weeks learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding languages.

Project 658 is a nonprofit that seeks to be a community of people who come alongside families and bring practical solutions for their daily lives.  Many of the families being served are refugees from various places around the world.  These families are learning what it looks like to live in the Charlotte area, many of which do not know English when they first come.

When Project 658 learned of the Drive Program they wanted to provide this training to those they are serving.  The Drive program will teach them new skills that they can use for career development as they further acclimate to the US culture.
