The Drive Program is a multi-dimensional learning program designed to draw out the potential in the next generation of entrepreneurs and equip them with the powerful skills of technology. Students will experience an introduction to entrepreneurship, computer programming, web design, social media, and digital marketing. Students will also interact with some of Charlotte’s most successful entrepreneurs and business men and women. Students will learn from specialists in the programming, web design and digital marketing fields.
Upon completion of the Drive program, students will successfully create their own website with a business in mind. Students will have the skills to continue learning computer science for further career development.
Drive is currently providing After School Programs at the following locations:
- Garinger High School (in partnership with MeckEd)
- Faith, Hope and Love
- Phillip O Berry Academy of Technology
- Adult Refugees (in partnership with Project 658)
- Adult Career Training program

Harris YMCA In November of 2013 Drive successfully completed it’s pilot program in partnership with the Harris YMCA. Middle school students from the YMCA’s youth program completed the 8 week program meeting twice a week.
Garinger High School Students enrolled in the Y Achievers program at Garinger High School were able to participate in the Drive program as well. 25 Students met twice a week for 10 weeks.
